ECONOMIC CONTRIBUTION

We are a significant economic contributor to the Cowichan Valley.

Employment
In 1966 we opened our first Band Office, employing 3 people. Today, we employ over 700 people in our combined operations, making us one of the largest employers in the region.

Monetary Contribution
We spend in excess of $35 million dollars in the Cowichan Valley. In addition, our members living in the Cowichan Valley region spend an estimated $9 million dollars on local goods and services.
